“Please take Atlantis wherever your creativity and inspiration guide you. I’m very excited for you. It will be in the best of hands and as it was meant to be. You were the heart and reason for its being from the start.”

THE RETURN

OF ATLANTIS

Story by
ingemar Backman

At the end of the twentieth century. Atlantis was lost to the world.

Life moved forward with its ups and downs. I became involved in building new companies, both within and outside snowboarding. I traveled the world and the Seven Seas.

The seas of Origin, Passage, Memory, Storms, Shadows, Dreams, and Return.

I was looking for something. At the sixth sea, the Sea of Dreams, unisideverse appeared — a parallel reality where the past, present, and future exist at the same time. It wasn’t until I reached the seventh sea, the Sea of Return, that I found it. I found Atlantis again. Atlantis was no longer a place. It was a state of being.

I slowly began to see more and more, and Atlantis started to become a place again. A place I recognized from before, but this time it was different. Time had passed. Now this place was filled with spirits from different times. The spirits guided me back.

The first person I told about this was Mark Tanabe, founder of Atlantis Snowboards in 1995. Mark’s response was important to me. It gave me confidence. I am now back at the First Sea, and a new chapter of Atlantis has just begun.

“I WILL CONTINUE ON THIS PATH AND
BUILD AGT TOGETHER WITH THE
SNOWBOARDING COMMUNITY.”

Atlantis Ghost Town

This is the first brand I started on my own.

After I tried to sell an old Atlantis snowboard, I realized I had the support I needed from the snowboard community. I was bankrupt and had no investors. With the support of friends, I am where I am today with the brand.

I will continue on this path and build AGT together with the snowboard community.

The shapes and the production of the boards are developed together with Moonchild Snowboards. We will only produce a limited number of boards each year.

The apparel is made on demand at different locations around the world to reduce overproduction, while also shortening delivery times and costs.

All profits from AGT products are reinvested into the brand to keep it alive.

I’m thankful for your support.
